The Drift - Blackmill - Chiptune Cover [001] (5x YM2149 PSG)

And here today is born a new age, an age of...  Oops wrong script.  Welcome to a potential new series of video postings.  I say potential mainly because of the time investment it takes to create this specific type of content.  As of now, these videos, or songs, are basically creations from my attempts to take songs I like, and convert them for use with the series of Retro PlayThru's Compacted Disk menus I release on a monthly basis at the blog for the Atari ST.

So here is Automation CD #131 V2, again, I do not see a noticeable difference between this menu and the original, but I am sure there is a binary difference.

Atari ST Cracktro [100] The Deprotecting Association [TDA] from Licence to Kill

This is the 100th cracktro post to YouTube, and I am certainly surprised that I have made it this far posting these pieces of history.  Here is another cracktro from TDA; this one was originally attached to License to Kill, which was based on the 007 movie of the same title.

Retro PlayThrus C.I.D. Compacted Disk #022 Release!

Happy Halloween!  Yeah, we still have another 29 days until Halloween, but who cares!  Anyway, here is Retro PlayThrus C.I.D. Compacted Disk #022, presented by the new, crappy blogger interface....

Atari ST Extra [024] King's Quest V DOS/EGA Intro in ScummVM on CT60 Falcon Roland MT32

Here is an capture of the intro to Kings Quest V, from the EGA release from the Atari ScummVM port, with MT32 sound.

Kings Quest V was another game that went unreleased on the Atari ST, but the ST was mentioned in the manual, so the cancellation must have come after some development had started, similarly to The Quest for Glory II.  The 16 color EGA here is not great, but it looks far better than what we saw with Conquests of the Longbow.  Anyway, this is playable on the Atari ScummVM port, and I would hope some day this title would be made available to regular ST users.  I do not think there is really any reason the gold old ST could not run this title similar to the competitors like the Amiga.

The binary used for this game is the same one that was used for Space Quest 4 VGA capture, and can be downloaded from the end of that blog post.

This video was captured on May 20, 2020.

This capture was played on an Atari Falcon equipped with a CT60 clocked at 66 Mhz and a SuperVidel with the DVI and audio output being captured by a Startech USB3HDCAP.

Video was edited with Shotcut.

Atari ST Extra [022] Conquests of the Longbow DOS/EGA Intro in ScummVM on CT60 Falcon Roland MT32

Warning: Long title incoming!  Here we have Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood, which is the sequel to Conquests of Camelot: The Search for the Grail, and the last title to be published in what could have been a series like Space Quest or Kings Quest, which are also from Sierra.
