Uncharted: Nate's Theme - Greg Edmonson - Chiptune Cover [007] (5x YM2149 PSG)

This is the last post of this type before the Christmas posts start rolling in on December 1st.  Here is a tune that some may recognize: "Nate's Theme" from Naughty Dog's Uncharted series of games.  This is another tune that I left on the cutting room floor, as I was unhappy with the lack of instrumental depth after chopping so much out for the 3 channel YM.

This tune is based on the sheet music found here -> https://musescore.com/user/11823136/scores/2552626.  I think it came out really well, but taking 16 channels down to 3 channels is not an easy task.  I might revisit trying to use this tune in the future for a demo CD release, but I just can't currently see being able to trim it down enough and have it still sound recognizable.

I do really like this tune, and most of the music created for the Uncharted games.  I have played Uncharted 1 and 2, and I am about a third of the way through the 3rd game.  Honestly, I look at those games, and see the missed opportunity of what LucasArts could have done with Indiana Jones.  Could you imagine putting Indy into those games, replacing Nathan Drake, or even some of the Tomb Raider games, and setting them in the time period of Raiders of the Lost Ark?  Add in some of the all too familiar characters to meet up, etc.  It would have been a grand adventure.  LucasArts had a real hit and miss record with their own IPs.  Fate of Atlantis was an excellent game, but LucasArts really dropped the ball after that title for expanding Indy's adventures, in my opinion.
