Here we have what was, at least in the US, a pack in game with the early Sega Master Systems, along with Hang On, which did not include the light phaser. Otherwise, Astro Warrior was released as a single game for purchase in the US.

The game is a vertical shooter, neverending, and very short before it cycles around again. Nice for a pack in game, but not really too good for a stand alone purchase.
I would say that the game length would need to be tripled, at a minimum, to make the game worth a single unit purchase.

An OK game, but not really worth going out of the way to obtain if you have not already picked it up.
