Atari ST Extra [021] Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis DOS/CD Intro in ScummVM on CT60 Falcon Roland MT32

Here is the intro to Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, the talkie version from the DOS CD released in the mid 1990s.  The sound here is digital audio and the music is from a MIDI connected Roland MT32, and put back together through a mixer for this capture.

This is probably my go-to title for testing the Atari ScummVM port.  Performance on this title is decent, and now the ScummVM-Lite port has matured enough that this will run with reduced colors on the much lower powered hardware!  Hopefully a video of that will be coming soon.  Otherwise, IJFoA runs quite well on a CT60-equipped Atari Falcon.  In my opinion, this game really captures the essence of the Indiana Jones films, and TV series, and makes for a great story addition to that world.  It is unfortunate that another game in the series was never made, although I do believe a concept was designed, but it was shut down before much development was completed.

The binary used for this game is the same one that was used for The Secret of Monkey Island capture, and can be downloaded from the end of that blog post.

This video was captured on May 20, 2020.

This capture was played on an Atari Falcon equipped with a CT60 clocked at 66 Mhz and a SuperVidel with the DVI and audio output being captured by a Startech USB3HDCAP.

Video was edited with Shotcut.
