Atari ST Demo / Intro [066] New Year Intro 1990 by The Replicants

 

Happy New Year!  Here is a New Year's greeting that was released a little late in 1990 from The Replicants!

Music, a scroller, great snow-themed graphics, and a cool snow plow effect over the bottom scroller are the main points of this intro that was originally released on January 6, 1990.  The snow effect here is really cool, but at times makes reading the scroll text a challenge.  Snow falls on the screen and builds up in piles along the scroll line, before the snow is cleared by a plow effect every so often.  Nice art used here!
