Vigilante - Atari ST [012] PlayThru

Title Screen
NOTE: A trainer was used for making this capture.

I was actually planning on capturing the Sega Master System version of Vigilante first, and had no idea it was ported to the ST.  I only discovered this port when I was doing research.  I still plan on posting the FM and PSG version of the Master System Vigilante at a later date.

Gameplay
I might file this port into the category of shovelware (definition included below) I have played to completion, so you can see it here, and never bother struggling through it yourself.  I have never seen the arcade version of the game, but I do have the Master System cartridge.

Gameplay
This port has good art, and is true to the arcade as far as naming, unlike the Master System version.  But there are no sound effects. The same music constantly cycles on each stage.  There is no unique music.

I would definitely skip this title.

Shovelware definition: 1. Software that is hastily made, without proper testing, and 'shoveled' down consumers throats in order to make some quick cash.  (Source: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shovelware)
