Ninja - Atari 800/XL/XE [003] Playthru

Title Screen
NOTE: A trainer was used for making this capture.

Another little title from my childhood.  The game itself is pretty short, but it was amusing enough.  The controls are decent, and the music is kind of catchy.

Gameplay
Basically the goal is to collect idols, make it to the top of the temple, and then escape.  The player only gets one life, but gets a health refresh with idol pickups.

While doing a little bit of research on this title, which was released in 1986, I was surprised to discover an arcade release existed, that came out in 1987.  Retitled 'Ninja Mission,' it was released on Mastertronic's Arcadia System, which was based on Commodore Amiga hardware.
Gameplay
The Amiga and the Atari ST also have Ninja Mission releases.  I was aware of the ST and Amiga ports; hopefully a capture of the ST version will appear here at a later date as that was another favorite of mine growing up.

Worth a look I think!
