Atari ST Extra [019] Flight of the Amazon Queen DOS Intro in ScummVM on CT60 Falcon AdLib Audio

Here we have the introduction for another great point and click adventure game from the mid 90s; unfortunately it was released after the basic demise of the Atari ST line, so it was not released for the Atari ST.  Flight of the Amazon Queen was released on the Amiga though, along with the PC.  It is also available from the ScummVM site.

I have never played very far in the game. I mostly use the introduction as another engine test for ScummVM during building and testing.  The game intro seems to run pretty well.  The story presented in the introduction seems quirky and potentially interesting.  Hopefully I will give this title a whirl on the Atari using ScummVM.  The Atari port does seem to be able to handle the game. Though some parts might be at the 'just barely' scale, that should not really affect gameplay.  It is more likely to affect any potential cinematic scenes, similar to the intro, which may appear in later parts of the game.

The binary used for this game will be posted at a later date.

This video was captured on May 20, 2020.

This capture was played on an Atari Falcon equipped with a CT60 clocked at 66 Mhz and a SuperVidel
with the DVI and audio output being captured by a Startech USB3HDCAP.

Video was edited with Shotcut.
